There’s a moment most homeschool parents hit… where you quietly wonder,
“What was I thinking?”
I know that moment well. It crept up on me multiple times.
And if you’re here, I have a feeling you might know it too.
So before anything else—just take a breath for a second.
You don’t have to have it all figured out here.
You don’t have to fit into a box.
You don’t even have to know exactly what you’re looking for yet.
We can figure THAT out together.

Who I Am and Why I Created The ECHO Village
I’m Jenn...and that handsome fella next to me in the picture above is my Husband, Danny. He's been my "partner in crime" since we tied the knot back in '09...well, technically, also for the 3 years we were together before I dragged him down the aisle!! We make a pretty good team -- so we'll be stepping into this new adventure together!!
I'm already getting ahead of my self...let's back it up, just a bit!
We've been a homeschool family for 18 years -- graduated our 4th kiddo in 2024!! Within our homeschooling years, I began building a local homeschool community—Created it for my kids, named it ECHO, and it turned out to be the lifeline that I didn't even know I needed! Overtime, ECHO became the space that many homeschool families had been craving; where they could share ideas, ask questions, find resources, and connect with fellow homeschoolers.
Our ECHO tag line has always been, "It Takes a Village...THIS is OURS." And today...I'm GROWING our vision...
Welcome to -- The ECHO Village
The ECHO Village is an extension of something I’ve always believed:
--> We were never meant to do this alone. <--
I want to provide a place of support if you’ve ever found yourself in that quiet, unsure space of “what was I thinking?”—
because I’ve been right where you are.
More than once.
Not because homeschooling was the wrong choice…
but because it’s a big one.
And big things come with questions. With doubt. With moments that don’t look anything like what you imagined.
I’m here to tell you...
It wasn’t the curriculum that made the difference.
It wasn’t doing it “right.”
It was having people around me who got it… who could meet me where I was.
THAT is what The ECHO Village is.
"The path gets lighter when we stop walking it alone."
We very much appreciate you dropping by for a visit!
WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW: Where are you in your homeschool journey right now—just beginning, deep in it, or somewhere in the ‘figuring it out as I go’ season? Or maybe you are on the "other side of things", like Danny & I are??

I feel like I'm just beginning my home schooling journey. However I have been using a preschool curriculum from Oak Meadow for my 5 year old, for the past year. It started as a chance for me to explore the idea and tasks of homeschooling while keeping my kiddo out of daycare an extra year. What I didn't expect was how much I would enjoy it, and how much my son could thrive from learning at home. Now I've decided to continue home schooling indefinitely with both my kids. I'm looking forward to participating in some of the upcoming events and I'm so grateful for the resources and advice I've gotten from other moms!
